Performance, Applications and Guidelines for Use

(1)    TAS-A molecule is composed of hydrophilic polar group (Acylamino-CONH-, Ester-COO-) and lipophilic non-polar group (aliphatic R). In the production of coloring plastics, these materials can effectively reduce the flocculation of pigment, increase pigments uniform dispersion in plastics and raise brilliance of coloring plastic products. Pigments also can be reduced by 5~10% of the amount, thereby lower production costs of coloring plastics.

(2)    Reference usage of TAS-A with pigments

Phthalocyanine Blue (BGS):     8~10% (WT)

Rion Blue 103:                8~10% (WT)

Phthalocyanine Green G:        8~10% (WT)

Everlasting Purple RL:          5~10% (WT)

Light Red BBM:               5~10% (WT)

Everlasting Red F3RK :         5 ~ 10% (WT)

(3)    Effects of TAS-A used in conjunction with above pigments in the PP coloring

When TAS-A substitute 8~10% of pigments, the color saturation of PP(C*) and hue angle(H*) have increased at different degrees, and the lightness of coloring PP(L*) declined slightly.

(4) When using TAS-A in conjunction with pigments to produce high concentration masterbatch of plastics and the general dyeing granulation, it can significantly improve the processing of masterbatch and the dyeing granulation (such as flowability) and surface gloss.
