Glossiness Lubricant  TAS-2A

Specifications:  

                     white or slightly yellow powder   Melting temperature: 65⁰C

                     Colour: ≤5.0(Gardner)   Flash Point: ≥275⁰C   

                     Acid content: ≤10.0 KOH mg/g   

                    Heat Weight Loss : ≤1.8wt.%(250⁰C), ≤4.8wt.%(300⁰C)

Characterizations:

     TAS-2A is one of amides owning high efficient lubricant for fillers.It can be insoluble in water, ethanol, acetone, carbon tetrachloride solvents at room temperature, but soluble in hot halogenated hydrocarbons, and resist to acid and basic matters, and it has nontoxic. It owns the following characters:

           to improve the dispersibility of pigments or fillers;

           to enhance MFR and surface gloss of the composites;

           to reduce the screw torque , so decrease machinery wear and tear;

           to  improve the mechanical properties of the composites.

Applications:

  It is mainly used in the general thermoplastics composites such as PE, PP, PVC ABS and their masterbatch. Recommendating usage: 3~5wt.% (in PE, PP and PVC masterbatch); 5~8wt.%( in ABS masterbatch). In constrat with EBS, WAX(BASF Corporation.), PE520(Clariant Corporation), if there are the same gloss and dispersion in the composites modified by TAS-2A, the content of modifier (TAS-2A) can be reduced 30-40%.
