Characterization:

TA-168 is the higher performance solid organic phosphite antioxidant than other phosphite antioxidants. Which can protect furthest the color of polymers, and improve the thermal stability of polymers in process.

Solubility: Soluble in toluene, dichloromethane, soluble slightly in esters and insoluble in water.

Applications:

Generally, its not applied alone. It is usually combined with phenoli-based antioxidants,for examle, antioxidant TA-1010. The mixtures of TA-168 with phenolic-based antioxidants are widely applied in polymeric materials such as PE, PP, PS, PA, PC and ABS, etc. Reference usage: 0.1~0.3 wt%.

Storage: Poor hydrolysis resistance. Keeps away from moisture and heat.
